Humus

This long, large drawing (ink and graphite) forms part of the world of Manu Fly to the Sea. It's details and textures become folded into the graphic novel panels and inform the visual world of the narrative.

The original drawing was also photographed in situ, at the Manor Farm House, Broughton, Huntingdonshire, UK in August, 2024.

Beautiful high-quality giclée print on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth 305gsm paper (or the nearest paper, if printing fulfillment is in your country and not the London-based printer I use).

If there is a giclée printer near you, I can organise printing fulfillment locally.

What is a Giclée Print?

Giclée is a French term meaning “to spray”, referring to how an inkjet printer works and how giclee prints are usually produced. These large-format inkjet printers use small spraying devices that can both match colour and apply ink precisely. When this process is paired with high-quality inks and quality museum-grade paper, the result is a beautiful print. Blacks come out looking like carbon – gorgeous.
